Founded in 1998 by sisters Hayley and Lindsey, Smiley Faces was born from a shared love of working with children and a passion for creating a nursery that truly feels like home. With many years of childcare experience between us, we wanted to build a setting where every child is known by name, not number and even today, you’ll still find us both involved in the day-to-day life of the nursery.

Smiley Faces Day Nursery
We wanted to create a setting that managed by names not numbers, and still today you will find Hayley and Lindsey very much a part of the daily running of the setting.
Government funding is available for children aged 9 months – 4 years. Entitlements are based on your child’s age and working status, offering funding for up to 30 hours per week for working parents and 15 hours for eligible 2 year olds and all 3 and 4 year olds. You can check here to see if you can claim.
We’re open from 8.00am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday and offer full and part-time care (a minimum of 3 sessions are required). We are open 51 weeks per year closing for Bank Holidays and a week over Christmas.
